Cromarty History Society
The Cromarty History Society is also the friends group for Cromarty Courthouse Museum, and we very much appreciate their support.
Like the Courthouse the history society is run by volunteers. Each year they organise a stimulating programme of talks that run from autumn through to Easter. The evenings are not only a good opportunity to get some fascinating historical insights - but also to enjoy a chat with friends and neighbours over a cup of tea or coffee.
The meetings are held from September to April on the third Thursday of each month at 7.30pm in the West Church Hall, Cromarty.
The programme of History Society talks for the 2019/2020 season can be found here
The first meeting of the season is on Archaeology and Historic Environment in Scotland's National Forests aand takes place on Thursday 19th September 2019 at 7:30pm in the West Church Hall.
