Hugh Miller's Cottage and Miller House
Next door to the Courthouse, there is an excellent museum devoted to Hugh Miller, writer, stonemason, geologist, and churchman. Find out more on their website.
Cromarty East Church
Just a few doors down from the Courthouse is the town's old parish church which has stood on this site for more than 700 years.
The church is grade A listed for it’s fine architecture, significant because many of the 18th century features remain intact. Find out more on the East Church website.
If you’d like to take a visual virtual tour of the town the ‘Generations in Stone’ tour developed by the Cromarty Courthouse Museum can be seen by following this link.
You might see one or two slightly dated cars - but the buildings haven't changed much!
